Charter schools need our help!

Charter schools are under attack.

Governor Ted Strickland’s budget proposal, introduced as legislation in the Ohio House this week, cuts funding for charter schools by $120 million dollars or more! If approved, the plan would cause such financial hardships that many charter schools would be forced to close, impacting tens of thousands of students and their families.

Nearly 9000 messages have already been sent to legislators by charter school supporters who responded to this call to action. Please join them and encourage others to do so. It only takes a few minutes and will have a significant impact. click here!

Thanks in advance for your support of this important grassroots initiative.

Also check out this article on ScienceDaily.com detailing the benefits of charter schools to our students!
